I am fond of learning Oriental languages very much. I took both Japanese and Korean while I was still living in Hong Kong in 1975~1976 and 1988 respectively.
I would like to further study Korean since what I acquired has been quite raw. In addition, I have much interest in knowing more about the culture of the Choseon Peninsula. Therefore, grasping the language of Korean would be conducive and enhancing for me in learning more of the respective culture.
F or the time being, probably I can spare an hour per day in further studying Korean.
In regard to the quality that I would expect from Korean language teacher, I wish he / she has been teaching Korean for quite a period of time and has in-depth knowledge of the culture of Korea as well as well-versed in either English or Chinese ( Mandarin ). Thus, it will facilitate the teaching / learning process.

I am currently completing my fourth year at the University of Ottawa with a major in Conflict Studies and Human Rights with a minor in Psychology. I am very committed to learning Spanish in order to be able to read, write and converse in three languages (English, French, and Spanish), and feel that this would be extremely beneficial in applying to the department of foreign affairs. I have a basic understanding of Spanish and have picked up the fundamentals of the language in two seperate courses offered at the University. I would really appreciate the language lessons to focus on the oral and written aspects of learning the language. I would like to dedicate one to two hours a week to Spanish lessons, and am looking for a professional and enthusiastic teacher who is genuinely interested in the improvement of his/her students. I would like lessons to be planned and progress in terms of how well the material is being grasped and understood.
