Hi,
My name is Matt and I after spending a year and a half living in China I wish to continue learning the language for pleasure as well as for business as I feel it is something that can truly help me in my career.
At the moment I speak and read to a lower intermediate level with my weakest area being in the appropriate use of Chinese grammar.
D ue to work commitments I am willing to commit to 1-2 teaching hours per week however I will be free most evening to study for between 30 minutes and one hour every evening.
I have no ideal qualities in a teacher as I get along with most people I meet quite well, however someone who is understanding , patient and very expressive would be great!

I would like to learn Mandarin Chinese. I travel to China about 5 times per year for business and I spend a lot of time in factories. It would greatly help my career if I understood Mandarin.
I am a beginner and I have only had one 6 week course at Emory. I believe one on one instruction would speed up my progress.
At Emory, I only had about 2 hours per week. I would like to increase that if possible.
I am looking for a teacher that is not too far from my house or does not mind coming to my house to give the lessons.
