I am able to understand Hindi at a beginner to intermediate level but I would like to learn to read and write as well as converse proficiently. I have plans to move to Mumbai within 1.5 years and I would like to be able to function effectively while there. I must improve my conversationa l skills. Ideally I would like to dedicate 1 evening a week or possibly 2 (3-4h total). I would like to find a teacher with patience and humor, I find those qualities help me learn effectively.

I am a Cantonese person who can only speak the language and would like to learn to read for personal fulfillment. I have taken Chinese school as a child but my reading skills are at beginners level.
I can dedicate about 4 hours a week to language lessons, and am willing to working on my own with homework.
Qualities that I am looking for in my lessons are increasing abilities to read newspaper and menus (realizing that this will take time). I would like a teacher who is patient and understanding .

Hi my name is Liam Mcleese, I'm 20 years old and I want to learn Spanish. This summer I plan to go down to Peru and help a with a charity organization. It is my passion to help others, unfortunately at this time I will require the help of some teachers in Spanish around Ottawa. I am bilingual in french, so I am aware of the similarities which should eeze the transferring of languages. But on the whole Spanish is new to me, so I would say I am a beginner.
