There are two primary motivations for learning Spanish. The first is business and the ability to speak the language in business meetings.The second is to satisfy the degree requirements for a PhD.
My proficiency level is beginner thus, all learning will be incremental.
I am willing to commit two-three hours a week to personal lessons.
The teacher ideally will be patient and have a since of humor. In addition, it is essential that the teacher have some experience teaching adults and thus, understand the nuances praying on a student of this nature.

I am a social worker and am looking for affordable classes.
I am Puerto Rican, but as is more and more common, I was not raised speaking fluent spanish. I am familiar with a lot, but not enough to conversate. I would like to start from the ground up and really get a good understanding of grammar, etc and then move on to conversation. I would like to do this to reconnect with my culture and also to futher career goals.
