I'm actually looking for a tutor for my 4 year old son. He is Singaporean-b orn chinese but speaks only English as I am Australian-bo rn chinese that speaks the Cantonese dialect. We are in Dallas for 2 years. I would like him to pick up Mandarin before he commences primary school in Singapore. It will be difficult for him to catch up otherwise. His only exposure to Mandarin was in his Singapore pre-school (5 days a week only in the mornings) which was dual-language (one Chinese speaking teacher and one English speaking teacher).
He will need to learn characters, hanyu pinyin and spoken.

I'm learning Farsi for my career as a journalist. I have taken five semesters of Persian at the University of Wisconsin-Mad ison, and am primarily looking for a teacher to help me with speaking. My reading and writing are fairly good, but since I graduated I haven't practiced speaking much, and I would have trouble communicating with native speakers. We were taught Farsi, but I would like to learn Dari if possible.
