My wife is Swedish and we are moving permanently to a home we have just purchased in Ljungskile. I lived in Sweden for two years but everyone without exception wished to speak English to me. I speak German which should be a great help with Swedish but should be treated as a beginner.I will be in Melbourne until next March and wish to have a grasp of everyday conversationa l Swedish learnt in that time.
As to how much time; this I cannot answer without knowing your methods but would imagine one lesson per week.
I had a private lesson with a teacher in Melbourne but her enunciation and general speech was so unclear that it was almost a waste of time.

i would like to learn italian so that i will be able to have a conversation with family that can only talk italian. i have some knowledge of the language but it is not very high. i would like to improve in my conversation skills in the italian language. i would like to dedicate a few hours every week possibly later in the evening. the qualitys i am looking for in a teacher is mostly just patience.
