I am Learning Czech as that is my husband mother Language and I wish to be able to talk with his family and friends. I would say that I'm at the beginner level. I would like to spend 2 to 4 hours a week learning czech. The qualities I'm looking for in a lession is to learn all the basics and to be able to talk freely in this language. I've recently started learning Croatian by myself because I am planning to visit the country in July and would like to be able to speak in some form to members of my family who I've never met. I've always wanted to know the language though because I'm half Croatian and do plan on visitng the country regularly. I'm not very good yet :P I know the alphabet and a few words and sentences, but I'm learning fast. I don't think I'll be as good as I want to be by July at the rate I'm going so am looking for a little extra help- I'd propbably consider tutoring once a fortnight starting asap.

Hi, My name is Christine, I was born in Norway but immigrated to Australia with my family when I was very young. My parents way of learning english was to speak only english at home so my brothers and I have lost what little we knew.
The last time I visited relatives in Oslo I started to pick up the language again after a few weeks (almost at the end of my trip), however this time I would like to get a head start and be able to speak Norwegian more confidently and hold a conversation with my family from the time I get there.
I am leaving for Norway early next year at th end of January so I'm looking for someone to teach me the basics and to hold conversations with for an hour or so each week. It's lost in my mind there somewhere and only need to be brought back to the surface again LOL
