I've studied german for about 3 years both in the US and in the Netherlands, though at different institutes with varying degrees of intensity. I feel I have a basic grasp of the language, though I'm not very comfortable with it. My listening and reading skills are better than my writing and speaking skills.

I wish to learn a foreign language for the purpose of enjoyment. I travel lots to different countries, and knowing more than just one language would be helpful to me. I am a beginner student in German, also have friends and cousins that live in Germany. Would also like to improve my pronunciation , conversation and to use proper grammar. Qualities I am looking for in an instructor, is someone who would be accommodating and patient. I am willing to give as much time during the week as I need to, to learn and hold a conversation with other german speakers.
