Hello,
I'm a 30 year old from the United States who has just moved to Dubai from London. I am interested in learning spanish for both career advancement and personal interest. Although it will be difficult, I'm sure, I would like to become fluent in spanish.
I studied spanish for several years in the USA, but that was 10 years ago and have forgotten much of it. I began individual lessons in London where I studied grammar and pronunciation . I am not a complete beginner, probably somewhere between beginner and intermediate.
I need help with speaking and comprehension particularly. I read and write spanish fairly slowly, but generally understand it when it is written. However, I have a lot of trouble understanding native spanish speakers and take a long time to speak while I think of vocabulary.
I'd be willing to spend several hours a week studying and would probably prefer to learn in a small group rather than on my own.
I would like a dynamic teacher who provides materials to study when I go home. I would also like a teacher who is a native speaker and involves a lot of verbal communication during the lessons.
