My name is Billy Silva and I am interested in learning portuguese. I know VERY little. My husband is from Portugal and he speaks it fluently. I would learn from him but currently he is in Iraq. I was wanting to learn some to suprise him when he gets home, plus we just had a baby boy and I have a 5 year old that I would love to know how to speak it. I live in Colorado Springs and I can't find anyone that is affordable that teaches it. The best time for me to learn is evening time after my infant is in bed. I know that would probably be hard but it is the easiest time.

I believe my proficiency level is between beginning and intermediate. Portuguese lessons are hard to find. I would rather learn with a tutor than in a classroom setting. Qualities I look for in a teacher would be patience and more patience. Thank you.
