Having recently traveled through China and fallen in love with the country and its people, I am very interested in learning basic Mandarin. In addition to my personal interests, it is well known that China is an emerging economic super power, making Mandarin a very valuable language to anyone who hopes to be involved in the business community in the future.
I have no experience with the language and am a complete beginner. I am hoping to have one or two classes a week and also study on my own.
I am looking for an experienced teacher who is able to present the language in a logical way that allows me to build confidence and use what I have learned. I would also like a teacher that is able to give me homework between lessons. It should also be fun!

I came back from 3 months in Italy and would like to continue learning the language. I learned Italian while I was there just by speaking to people, carrying around a dictionary, and forcing myself to try. I also bought a course book for foreigners that I tried to work through on my own.
I would love to continue to speak Italian and learn more. I would like help with grammar, conversation, pronunciation and building my vocabulary. I would also be willing to trade teaching English and learning Italian if anyone is interested.
I would like to learn in a fun conversationa l way. Appertivo and apprendare! :)
