I've studied via Pimsleur audio CD's for around 100 hrs plus 3 10-day trips in Brazil over the last 14 months. I speak Portuguese like a caveman.
# Why you are learning your foreign language
I am a missionary working with churches in Brazil: while this also means I'm poor (depending solely on the gifts of my supporters), I need to get proficient in order to likely take over Brazilian operations
# The areas in which you feel you need particular improvement
All areas, probably grammar is my weakest
# How much time you want to dedicate to your language lessons. 3 hrs/wk is ideal, but depending on what direction you give me, I'm willing to move my impossibly full schedule
# What qualities you are looking for in your lessons or in your teacher.
