I am an absolute beginner and am looking for a teacher of mandarin chinese.
I have learned vietnamese in the past, where I lived for about a year and had my first introduction to learning an asian language.
Initially , I am hoping to start learning mandarin for fun but would eventually like to live and work in China.
I live close to the city and would really like to have night time or weekend classes as I work full-time. I am hoping to dedicate about 2-3 hours a week to study - maybe (1.5 hours x 2 days).
In terms of a teacher I'm looking for someone who is disciplined yet wants to share anecdotes of chinese culture, not just language.
I look forward to finding a chinese teacher on this site.
