I wish to learn chinese as i plan to go travelling through china in the coming years and possibly going over to study in the future,
I am a beginner and am eager to learn it again. I am thinking one hour lessons a couple of times a week depending on funds and how much each lesson will cost.
I am usually a fast learner and do well with an interactive easy going teacher, i also learn better hands on rather than from a book. In a teacher the qualities i look for it humour, good attitude, serious but easy going, and very interactive.
Possibly down the track i am thinking of learning some other languages such as; French, German, Japanese, Spanish (maybe). depends on how a few things plan out.

I wish to learn more about the languages relative to my study, that being the History of the Asian region, and also Religious (Catholic) History. I have begun a study of the Catholic Church in the Philippines, so I am interested in learning Tagalog. I also have a Philippine background, though I have been brought up mostly on my Australia side.
I also have a beginners knowledge of Latin and French. I am thinking of moving/teachi ng in China so am also interested in Mandarin.

I am a beginner and would like to develop both reading, comprehension and conversation.
