I am travelling to mozambique and would like to learn proper portuguese. Don't get me wrong, I love Brazilian Portuguese but I hear that there is a difference between Brazilian and Portugal portuguese. I will be working in Suriname soon too and will need Brazilian Portuguese as well. I spent two months in Brazil in 2004 and learned a little.
I need improvement in conversation mostly.
3 hrs a week of actual lesson time at most. Only really available on weekends.
Preferable to be able to meet someone in the kits/ubc area

I am new to Portuguese. I have a friend from Brazil that has exposed me to the language some, but other than that I am a complete novice. I would like to learn this language because I am going to Brazil in Decemeber, and I would like to be able to conversate with locals. I can dedicate up to 5 hours a week if needed on Portuguese.
