I recently went to Florence to study Italian for two weeks, it was originally intended to be for fun, and a cost effective way of staying there for two weeks. I am very interested in learning Italian, because I intend on moving to Florence when I finish my schooling. Im a beginner in the sense to make sure I understand everything, but have had much practice with the language, though not in depth, a good understanding of pronounciatio n and verbs. A couple hours a week would be sufficient. I want to improve all areas to become fluent and be able to speak Italian in everyday conversation.

I am a student enrolled in the University of British Columbia and I would like to learn Arabic, but UBC doesn't have a course for it. I plan on getting a degree in International Relations. I would like to have the credits count towards my UBC degree. I am going on a volunteer trip to Uganda in January, so I would like the course to be three credits from September-Dec ember. I am coming back to Vancouver after the trip in the following September and would like to resume classes at that time to finish maybe 24 credits.

My father (he is 65 years old) would like to learn italian to communicate with my fiance's family. My father speaks english and cantonese fluently. He know absolutely zero italian. He would like to learn enough to be able to have some basic communication . He is retired so his schedule is very flexible. He is hoping for 2-3 times a week one-on-one instruction.
