To give myself more opportunities for my career advancement. I have had some job offers in the past but needed to be able to speak Mandarin so couldnt accept the job. I can speak a bit of Cantonese, but cannot read or write in chinese, so i want to learn Mandarin to a business level and be able to read and write in chinese.

I am seeking language lessons in both Mandarin and also Russian. At present I am a beginner with no experience in either language.
In 12 months I will be traveling throughout Russia and also to Beijing so I feel that being partially fluent in both languages will greatly assist me during my travel. I will have tour guides however I would like to be able to not solely rely on them as I would like to spend free time exploring on my own. It is imperative to me that I can be somewhat self-sufficie nt during my travel so being able to speak and hold conversation and read signs etc around me is very important. I also feel in doing so this will make the trip a much more culturally rewarding experience. I also work in the tourism industry so learning other languages will be extremely beneficial in regards to my work.
At present I can only afford one lesson per language a week however in a couple of months my budget will clear up leaving extra money for extra lessons, most preferably two lessons per language per week if suitable for the tutor.
I prefer live in person as it is much easier for me to learn this way. I am very passionate about this so I will be dedicated to spending time outside of lessons reviewing what was covered and any extra homework that is necessary.

I want to learn language to communicate and speak. I have tasted some Farsi and find it to be a beautiful language so I want to learn more. Ideally I'm looking for a class to learn grammar and functions and practise basic transactional exchanges. I am a kinaesthetic and creative learner so would like lessons to be practical and fun with opportunities to practise what we have learned. I also want to practise reading and writing in Farsi.
