I have been studying ??? on my own and in the classroom setting for about two years. I feel a have a beginners to intermediate foundation already built. In fact I now have my three year old counting to 10 in Japanese on his own. I currently work for Apple Inc. and have the opportunity to enter into our trying program. I also have the opportunity to get involved in the training area of the Asia/Pacific. So to be honest, I am looking for some serious Japanese tutoring to help in a possible job transfer.

I am 3rd generation Japanese and cannot speak the language. My parents are bilingual and I would like to be able to speak with them in their native language. I am a beginner and only know a few words. I have no understanding of grammar cannot converse at all. I would be able to dedicate approximate 4 hours/week. The qualities I am looking for in an instructor are understanding of the culture, enthusiasm for teaching, flexibility in teaching methods, and patience.

I want to learn japanese mainly to teach or translate as a more meaningful career. And partially for a fun challenge as well, but still mostly career.
Prof iciency level is at beginner, I do recognize some Hiragana and Katakana characters.
I need to really work on grammar and general conversation the most.
My schedule is a bit hectic at the moment, I'm currently working out between my two jobs in order to have a stable schedule for my teacher. Right now monday afternoons and sunday nights are best, I am hoping to get a more stable schedule soon.
I am looking for in lessons is a interactive setup both in writing and speech. For a teacher I'm looking for someone to go over the material and knowledge of the culture/manne risms as well.
I want to be able to go to Osaka or outskirts of Tokyo in 2-3 years and be as fluent and natural as possible.

She has lived for 6 years in Okinawa Japan and has attended a local Yochein for 3. We feel her proficincy level is advance beginner for a 6 year old child.
