I want to increase my understanding of my main language which is pushto but unfortunately I was brought up fluently in Farsi. But now I'm getting back to my roots and I want to learn my mother language which is pushto. I understand the basics but I need to get fluent in speaking and perhaps in writing but more importantly speaking is my main focus. So the areas I want to focus is on fluent conversation. I will dedicate as much as time as I can because I want to learn pashto really soon. I wish to learn Arabic for both personal and professional reasons. I am currently a beginner with very limited grammar. I require broad studies, including formal written Arabic as well as spoken Arabic (preferably Gulf/UAE dialect). I will be in Vancouver studying at UBC for the next 3 or 4 years, and would ideally have lessons with a private tutor at least once a week (excepting holidays). I would devote at least 4-8 hours a week to studying Arabic, depending on other academic commitments.

I am looking for a mandarin tutor (preferably pinyin style) to direct and help me improve in my mandarin speech and mandarin writing because I feel it is such an important language nowadays.
I can speak cantonese, nothing advanced though, but cannot read or write it.
Also, I have taken a semester of beginners pinyin chinese at Langara College a few years ago but most of the lessons have been forgotten.
