I recently visited South Korea to meet my girlfriends friends and family. I have a very limited knowledge currently and only know a few words here and there.
I want to be able to have conversations with people and understand what others are saying.
I' ve been with my girlfriend for nearly 2 years so I have picked up a small vocabulary of words, but I have no concept of grammar. I would like to be able to string a sentence together.
I work full time 9 - 5 but would like to dedicate one or a few nights a week to learning.

My husband and I are planning to go to Bali next year for a period of 6-12 months. Prior to leaving, we would like to get a firm grasp of Bahasa. Our preference would be to have a teacher that was able to come to our home as we have two small children.

Hi there,
At the start of the year i spent 5 weeks in Rio and since this experience have fallen in love with the Brasilian culture and Language! I will be going back very soon (possibly at the end of the year).
Som e of the friends i have made whilst i was over there i speak with on a regular basis through either Facebook, Skype or MSN in Portuguese and English. I use Google Translation a lot to be able to communicate fully but have been picking it up along the way.
I have spent some time learning through online trainers, books and a little from a cd. I would classify my level as beginner as i do understand some of the basics in terms of grammar and can form some sentences without any help of translation.
At this stage, i find reading Portuguese the easiest, then writing, then speaking and lastly, understanding (someone talking to me).
I would prefer to learn in a class environment as i feel this would enhance the experience of learning the language. Also, i would like the lessons to be enjoyable and high energy as that is how i view Brasil and is the reason i am so interested in learning Brasilian Portuguese in the first place :)

I currently learn French, which i speak quite fluently, however I am going overseas next year for 11months and i am spending majority of the time in southern India therefore I wish to learn Hindi. I mainly want help in Conversationa l areas, and I would like a teacher who understands this and will teach me the important things I may need to know.

I am looking to learn Thai after visiting the country many times, and also having many Thai friends here in Perth. I have always been interested in learning to speak better, as well as to read and write once my language skill is intermediate or so.
I have only basic Thai language at the moment and consider myself to be a beginner.
I am looking for a teacher that I get along with well, is patient (as I have never been good at learning languages) and understands that I am usually extremely busy with work.
