I want to learn Japanese to be able to speak to my wife in her native language; and also to communicate with her family. Also I'd like to move to Japan someday and I feel learning the language is necessary for getting a decent job. My goal is to move to Japan in approximately 5-10 years, I realize anything can happen between now and then.
I'm willing to spend 5 hours a week learning japanese, also I'd practise more with my wife on a everyday basis.
Qua lities of lessons/teach ing I'm looking for: Classes in Denver would be good except I work crazy hours. I use the internet daily and online classes with video chat would be nice. I don't learn well with reading books; I need direction from a teacher and someone to motivate me. I learn well with flash cards, pc software, and workbooks.

Hello. I am a beginner Japanese student that has been placed in the only available Japanese class at my high school. However, this class if far beyond my level of comprehension , and I need this class in order to graduate. I wish to learn Japanese not only in order to graduate from High School, but in order to satisfy my curiosity on the subject. The Japanese language and culture has always intrigued me.
I need quite a bit of improvement in actually speaking the language. I have knowledge concerning Hiragana and Katakana, but I find I'm a bit rusty. I am searching out a tutor for at least once a week, and someone that will be willing to be flexible with me. I can get caught up in things when learning them and not quite understand them for awhile, and I need someone who can be patient with me in the respect.
