I am hearing impaired and wanted to learn to German language and I wasn't allowed to teach languages at high school because of our deafness. My partner is a german and also this will help me with the confidence to learn and to speak and in writing so I would communicate with his family members and his friends as well whenever we go and visit in germany on holidays.
I'm a new beginning with german language. Don't know where to start.
I have a satisfactory of english but I talk well and speak well and lipreading good but that depends on everyone. A teacher will have to be patient and going through with a great benefit helper. Face to face communication is important for me and a teacher would have a good open communicator so I can understand via. Quiet tutoring is important for me so I can focus easily and talk easier.
I would like to have one to one for an hour tutoring. If there is a need of books that I require to buy just let me know and we can start or you can tell me when meeting one to one first and start from that.
I am single divorced mother of 4 children and I have a sense of humour and I am a straightforwa rd person that comes with anything. I am a honest person and am willing to learn anything to achieve my goal. I want to show his family and his friends that I have the ability to do in their culture and share with them. Maybe one day I would get a job and also my baby daughter is a half german/aussie - 14 mths old.

I was interested in learning the Thai language..
I am an absolute beginner..
I am looking to meet a Teacher to practice conversationa l skills with as I progress in learning ( I purchased a Thai language course , complete Thai .. )
I work out of town so I can study when at work , but when Im in town I would be interested in maybe 3 hours of classes a week or more ( Im not to sure will see how it goes )

I would like to learn Finnish as I am married to a Finnish man and might look at moving to Finland. My husband is currently very busy with work and do not have the time or teaching experience to teach me but could practice conversations with me.
At the moment I only know a few words and willing to do 2 hours weekly or bi-weekly.
I hope to find a teacher who is patient as my language learning abilities are very slow. I also need someone who would encourage and help motivate me.
