I am an Air Force officer and I am interested in increasing my proficiency in Japanese (lived there for 4 years and have been studying for 7 years). I would also like to learn some Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. I am a dedicated student, fully capable of tackling multiple languages at one time and doing well in all. I work shiftwork, so I can devote 2-4 hours each week for 1 on 1 lessons in each language. I would welcome a face to face meeting before you decide on taking me as a student.

My name is Jay and I'm currently at beginner Japanese. I want to teach English abroad in Japan through the JET program, but there's not a very clear or concise road map to learning the language. So far I've been studying through Tae Kim and Genko I - II second edition, but a lot of the general information provided to me doesn't seem to flow together as eloquently as I expected it to.
