I am a 20 year old university student, wanting to learn Afrikaans because my boyfriend and his family are native Afrikaans speakers - I would love to be able to talk to them in their own language rather than have them always switch to mine.
I am an absolute beginner but am told I pick things up quickly... (wishful thinking on boyfriend's behalf??) I'd like to do at least one lesson a week. I am quite shy so a teacher who is encouraging but also challenges me would be ideal. :)
