My mother is Japanese and every year or so we will travel to Japan to visit my grandparents. Unfortunately I don't know Japanese well enough. Only basic things such as directions, numbers, or random animals. I would like to learn more to make my future trips more enjoyable. Plus learning a second language would be helpful in my career field.

I am at the beginner level when it comes to japanese, I am currently teaching myself japanese through audio cds and books and the internet. But i have many question that i want answered and a tutor would help in this regard. Truth be told i want to be able to read kanji, hiragana and katakana. I love the japanese culture from what i see and i would like to visit japan some day. Plus i watch japanese programs and i would like to be able to understand what they are saying. Everyday i spend time practicing japanese if i could get a tutor maybe once a week then i would be able to know if and how i am progressing. I want an actual japanese tutor one who will talk to me in japanese all the time that i think will force me to learn faster.
