I wish to learn Japanese because over the past few years I have discovered I have a liking to Japanese culture, anime, and music. This has driven me to naturally pick up a few words and phrases, which then drove me to want to learn the language itself and not just bits and pieces. I would also like to visit Japan within the next year or two and before that I would like to speak the language proficiently. I am willing to spend an hour every day or two to studying the language. I would like a teacher who can teach me to speak and understand the language as best as I possibly can. The speed at which I learn is not overly important though I tend to pick things up pretty quickly and if that applies to Japanese as well I would like to move along as fast as I can. In addition I would like my teacher to be friendly and willing to help in any and all areas of the language I may struggle with.

I am studying Japanese as a hobby and I would like to eventually visit Tokyo. I am still a beginner, studying at the Metropolitan State University of Denver.
I need help with grammar, particles, and conjugations of verbs and adjectives. I would like to meet with a tutor at least 1-3 times a month, as I already attend class 2 times a week.
I would like a patient, experienced tutor who is willing to start with the basics of the areas in which I've stated that I need help.

I am planning on earning my bachelors degree in Japan at Temple University Japan. Even if the school itself is English speaking, I want to prepare myself to live in Japan. I want to learn as much as I can so that I can buy groceries and ask my way around on my own. I would love to learn on a business level so that I can use the language to my advantage should I choose to follow my career through in Japan. I plan to attend this school in August 2013, so I would love to learn twice a week for an hour or so until that time. If I only get to intermediate or literate, it will all be beneficial to me in the end. I just want to learn Japanese and all about Japan's culture!
My level is around beginner. I did take one year of Japanese but that was four years ago. I rarely remember the Hiragana characters and a bit of vocabulary and structure. I do have some basis and I am sure when we go through the beginners section that I will breeze through once I remember what I was taught back then!
I feel like I really need improvement in conversation, since I will probably use that most. I do want to learn about writing, understanding , and grammar.
I would like to learn twice a week for an hour or two.
I am just looking forward to learning the language. I hope that my instructor can help me learn the language how it is suppose to be spoken natively and that they can help me with my rough spots. As long as they want to teach me and help me when I need help I feel like I can do the rest from there on. Interactive lessons would be great, since I feel like I'll need to be sharp on that! However, I am not picky on how my teachers teach as long as they want to teach as much as I want to learn.

Mi name is Jorge Victor Lopez-Estrada , I have been studying Japanese for 7 years straight. I have passed the Noryoku Shiken test and I am currently at level 3 of said test. Despite having advanced on the subject, I'm quite far from being an expert; my current challenge now lies with interacting with native Japanese as well as the communities present in San Diego, I also need to follow through my next step of progress. I have notes and completed work books to aid in my study, however, I lack knowledge in Kanji. I could need classes focused more on grammar and vocabulary. Thank you for your attention, I'm looking forward to have private classes and to further expand my knowledge on Japanese language.
