I have a BA in Spanish (graduated 2004) and studied in Madrid, Spain for 4 months in 2003. I have not used my Spanish in nearly 1.5 years and have accepted a new job that will require me to work with the Spanish Speaking community along with the Spanish Media. I am looking for a teacher/tutor to help me review my Spanish and also to advance my skill base. I will be primarily interested in conversation, grammar review and also formal writing. I am a beginner/inte rmediate. I have six years of Spanish under my belt, but did not use the language very often and my skills have faded quite a bit. My last class was four years ago.
I am looking for career advancement. I need to be able to speak to latino athletes.
My conversationa l skills need mega improvement.
I would like to meet 4-5 times per week.
I am looking for a teacher who will push me, but has patience as I probably will take a lot of work to get going. Also, the teacher must be able to teach me slang as some of the latino athletes I hope to speak to will not follow proper grammar.
