I am needing to refresh my grammar to enter a master's program for international environmental policy, where I will also be studying and writing in spanish. I took a diagnostic test for the school and they would prefer me to take an intermediate level spanish course to touch up my grammar. I never really studied spanish except for a couple of years in high school and one semester in college about 8 years ago. I did however live in Chile for the past 3 years, so I am pretty fluent in conversation and understand everything I hear, I just need practice writing and with grammar.
I would like one class a week, but intensive grammar and some conversation to keep me thinking in spanish./
I would really benefit from a teacher who is strong in grammar.

My proficiency levels in all three languages I want to learn are probably ranked at different places in the beginner stage.
The reason I want to learn these languages is for both my career and my own enjoyment. I really am interested in learning as many languages as I can, but the ones I chose are the most important to me.
I would say that I need vast improvement in all aspects of the languages. As I stated before I am only a beginner. Although, I think I have the best understanding of the French language out of the three I am learning.
At this point I am not sure how much time I can devote. I would like to use as much time as possible to learn these languages.
I have had teachers at high school and college and they teach straight out of a book. I would like to see a teacher that has their own developed way of teaching, I can read a book myself.

Looking for tutor(s) for my high school junior. Today it is for IB (Internationa l Baccalaureate ) Spanish 4 at Lamar HS. Books, tests, and homeworks are available for reference. We are 1.7 miles (4 minutes) from Lamar HS. We need instruction after 6pm.
