umm... i am dalvin and i am planning to learn french as a 3rd language.i am learning this language because i like this language.i would like to learn how to communicate with people in french in a more efficient way, and also i would like to understand the language better.since i am having my holidays i would like to learn part of this language in 2 months time. i am lookin for a teacher who can speak both english and french so that she or he would be able to translate it into english if i do not understand.

Hi,
Am a graduate in genetics from Bangalore University. Am very fond of languages and try to grasp and learn anything in any language. As India is a country of many languages I feel happy in making you aware that I can understand a few languages like Oriya, Bengali, Assmese,Kanna da and Marathi. I can undestand the languages and what people are talking, I mean their general parley, but I am afraid of getting involved myself because of the fear that I might make a mistake. I originally belong to a small village in Bihar but due to God's grace and my Parents am here in Bangalore. My tongue is completely neutral and to an extent non accented or there is no mother tongue influence.
I want to learn French or German or Russian as I want to go to the Beautiful Country and my dreams are high enough to make me think that one day I would be a Visiting Faculty in one of their Top most Reasearch labs and Universities.
The problem lies here, am completely alien to the Language. Am a Beginner to say the least.
I would be grateful if you could kindly lend me Your Time and Patience. I will not disappoint you.

I'm a beginner in Chinese Mandarin and an inermediate-b eginner French student. I am learning French in High school and Chinese just for fun. I eant to focus more in Chinese since I already have French classes.In chinese I need a lot of help with writting ( I dont know anything), I am okay with grammar but I want to study it in depth, and I want a lot of practice on conversation and tones.I want to dedicate at least an hour a week for the language.
The qualities I am looking for in my teacher and lessons would be:
~to set up a time and day that is convenient for me
~maybe have the lesson at my house
~Have some sort of workbook and homework where I can practice my languague
~ I would like my teacher to speak to me in Chinese as much as they can (or I can understand) during a lesson.
~ Have something to work on for the next lesson (homework)
~ a nice and understanding teacher that also incorporates some culture. I love the asian culture.
~so meone that would make my learning time worth while and enjoyable.
