I am a beginner, although I know a few Slovak words and a couple of sentences.
M y girlfriend is Slovakian who is living with me in England, her English is very good, however, I would like to be able to converse with her friends and family in Slovakia as not many of them know English, so basically would like to have conversations with them.
Also I would prefer to learn with an outside source rather than through my girlfriend as I find it a lot easier to learn.
I understand how complex the language is and would like to know about grammar and like I said, to converse with other Slovaks fluantly or so they can understand me!
I am able to set aside as much time as possible to learn, all dependent on the teacher (and obviously cost) and would like someone who is patient and who can teach the Slovak language (not Czech).
