I am a beginner in learning Japanese. The basics I know are simple romaji...like hi, bye, goodmorning. I seek to learn japanese because I'm going to move to japan in about two yrs to work. I would like to dedicate at least 2-3 hrs a day in learning, but of course its up to my teacher. I would like to learn how to speak japanese fully and how to write and understand kanji, katakana, and hiragana.

My skills in Japanese are at the first grade level at best so I am a beginner. I have a love of the Japanese culture and two of my potential career choices depend on me being fluent in the language. I certainly need to improve in everything from, grammar to conversations to vocabulary, but I am eager to learn.
I feel that I would be able to meet my teacher three times a week at most and spend an hour to two hours with him/her per day depending on the day. I would like my teacher to be flexible concerning the time I would be able to spend with them during lessons because I am still in school so I would be balancing the two. I would prefer a female teacher but it isn't a requirement. Being a native speaker is also preferred but not necessary.
