I want to continue learning Japanese. Last year I passed the JLPT level 4. I lived in Japan for 13 months as well, so I'd say I'm between a beginner and intermediate. In total I have studied about 2 years. My hiragana and katakana are excellent but kanji is overall weak.
I want to continue to master grammer, improve my fluency and speed during conversation. I have been using the Minna No Nihongo textbook, and am on the second textbook.
I can dedicate about 4 hours a week to study, this includes time in lesson and study time at home. I always listen to Japanese and practice conversation with a cd 15 minutes every night as well.
I am looking for a teacher that wants to enforce my grammer and all points so that it is perfect.

I am a native english speaker, also raised with speaking visayan but not completely fluent. I would like to learn japanese because i think the language is beautiful and i love the japanese culture. I would also like to learn many other languages, like korean, thai, tagalog, chinese, etc. i am available mondays through thursdays and i'm looking for a teacher that is fun and easy to get along with and can help me become as multilingual as i can be!

I used to be at an advanced fluency level (was studying for the ikkyu proficiency exam) due to studying Japanese in college for 3 years plus 2 years of tutoring and spending a year abroad on a student exchange program. Since graduating however my fluency has declined tremendously. I am mostly just able to speak colloquially now. I am interested in receiving tutoring in more formal business Japanese as I will be traveling to Japan in January for work.
Weekly lessons would probably be best for my schedule. I would also prefer to have a native speaker for a tutor.
