Looking for lessons for my two children (7 and 9) and myself. I have taken Russian, French, Latin many years ago and would like to continue learning.
Neither of my children have taken language classes (my daughter has taken a fun Japanese class in which she learned to sing in Japanese, but otherwise no other classes).
Looking for someone good with children and who will make learning fun. We are willing to devote at least once a week (possibly twice) for lessons and I'm willing to either learn as a group or individually with my children.
Want someone who is patient, sense of humor, and takes their teaching seriously but who is also flexible as I am a working single parent with many other 'irons in the fire.'

I have learned the Chinese Mndarin basics but still consider myself as a beginner. I want to learn and be proficient simply because I am a half Chinese and would like to converse with my family and for career advancement as well. I need improvement in everything from learning the language, to understanding it and be able to converse or communicate with fellow Chinese specially whenever I am in China. Time needed to learn will depend on my progress because I am fully commited and would like to focus on this. A patient and a friendly teacher are the basic qualities that I'm looking for to work with. Thank you.

2nd semester at HKU.
Learning for personal growth and determined to speak fluently.
Need a lot of help in grammar, listening, speaking, comprehension ... ALL!
I am already dedicating 3 hrs/day every day in class and would like to have a tutor for maybe 3 hrs/week (more or less).
Quali ties I'm looking for in a tutor is one who can explain in English and follow our 'New Practical Chinese Textbook'. I have the teacher's manual as well.
Also one that is always on time and has a reasonable rate, of course.
