I am a beginner who is interested in learning the Spanish language. My wife's family is Cuban. I am a business owner in Florida and would benefit from being able to communicate in the Spanish language.
I am willing to put in several hours a week to learn this language.
I would prefer to learn with several others students in a semi-private environment.

I am a beginner in Spanish. I did an immersion program years ago for Mexico Spanish. My roomate and myself have property in Panama and need to learn the language. Due to our jobs we can't attend traditional classes. I am looking for an instructor to come to our home and teach use Spanish for use in Panama. I would prefer a male instructor if possible. My wife and I are moving to Monterrey for 2 months at the end of June and are looking for a private teacher that can help us further our spanish knowlegde. We have both taken spanish in high school and college and know a fair amount. Although I took three years of Spanish in college (20 years ago) and have been working with Rosetta Stone CDs at home, my proficiency is not much above 'beginner.' I can read and understand very basic Spanish, but I've never been conversationa l.
I want to become fluent in Spanish because I feel like I've already got a good foundation to build upon. My company is expanding operations into Latin America, and fluency could lead to some nice opportunities as well.
I need improvement in all areas, but I'm most interested in becoming conversationa l.
I could dedicate a night a week (up to several hours) for one-on-one or small group instruction.
I would like a teacher that is enthusiastic and positive. Spanish classes in college were very frustrating because I just couldn't 'get it' and I want to very much.
