I am a beginner. My best friend is from Belo Horizonte, Brasil, and I have visited the country twice. I love it there, and plan on going back as often as possible. So, I figured, why not learn the language?
I am very good at picking up pronunciation s. I had five years of French in high school, though I have lost much of it now. I can still read and understand it, but my speaking and vocabulary are pretty bad.
I would be willing to dedicate an hour or two per week to classes. I am looking for a personal tutor, who does sessions in person.
