I am a beginner and have not studied any Mandarin.
I am personally interested in learning Chinese. This could potentially be related to career advancement, but is also just of personal interest. I will travel to China late in 2008.
I would like to learn basic grammar, but put more focus on pronunciation and conversation.
To begin with, I would like to meet once per week for two hours. Potentially, I would be interested in two lessons per week.

In 2002 graduated Samarkand State institute of foreign languages (BA-with honours) Teacher of English language and literature.
The reason of learning Chinese language is to learn deeper Chinese culture and comunicate with people. At the momnt I work for Fly Emirates as an airport services agent. In my home country Uzbekistan I work in Tourism sphere.
I am planning to be in Dubai untill July 2008. Thus if there is any chance planning to learn Chinese as soon as possible.
I would be very glad to study with experienced and always welcoming person.
