I lived in China when I was young and had a good understanding of the language. I plan to move back in a few months and consider my level to be in between beginner and intermediate.
I will be taking a job in Beijing and will need to regain the language.
I need to work on conversation and business vocabulary
I would like to meet for 1.5-2 hours each session.
I would like to have a teacher that will push me and help me get to where I need to be in a short period of time.

I am as green as can be in this area. I have absolutely no knowledge of the Chinese language other than it being Chinese!
My primary reason for wanting to learn to speak Chinese is to broaden my employment opportunities . I would like to be a translator for business. On a personal level I also have a desire to broaden my horizons and learn more about Chinese culture.
I work quite a bit but I think I would be able to dedicate 12 - 16 hours a week between classroom and study.
I want someone who can teach patiently and thouroughly. passionately and systematic.

Hello,
Wayne and I are looking for a tutor to teach us Mandarin.
We are from Australia (I am originally from Malaysia but have lived in Australia for the last 20 years)
Our proficiency level : Beginner
W hy we are learning Mandarin : We have just recently moved to Zhengzhou, Wayne is a golf professional and currently coaches via an interpreter. He would eventually like to coach in mandarin directly. I am a currency trader, teaching English parttime and would like to be convesant in Mandarin (I know basic Hokkien and Cantonese)
Areas we need particular attention :
1) Conversationa l Mandarin
2) Ability to coach in Mandarin (for Wayne)
3) Basic reading and writing in Mandarin
H ow much time we want to dedicate to language lesson :
Approximat ely 6 hours tutoring time a week.
We would like to be conversant as quickly as possible
