Hello,
My name is Matthew Traber and I am a Korean adoptee on a hunt for a tutor that will be able to teach me the Korean language. I want to learn Korean because I plan to visit and/or maybe live in Seoul for a couple years and search for career opportunities and other reasons. I have no knowledge in the language so far but I am willing to work hard and do my best to learn. I would prefer to work on all subjects ie: grammer, conversation, etc. I will do whatever it takes to learn the language. I am looking for a teacher that is sincere, dedicated, trustworthy, respectable, friendly, patient, etc. Everyone is different, and everyone has different styles of teaching. As long as I am able to accomplish learning Korean, that is what matters to me. Thank you for your time, let me know what you think!

I studied Korean for 4 years as my major at University but am looking to study Business Korean for career advancement purposes.
My fiance is infact Korean and although we talk a lot at home, we never use Korean in a business/ formal environment. In addition, I feel that the advanced Korean which I learnt during my time at University is slowly being forgotten and I frequently make basic errors when speaking, reading and writing.
D ue to having a full time job, I am looking to start with weekly one-hour classes with a knowledgable teacher who is able to push and challenge me. I used to be an English tutor in Korea and always tried to adopt interesting and varied techniques when teaching my students- I hope to find a Korean tutor who can do the same.
