I am a beginner in Punjabi but am fluent in the names of curry dishes! I would like to learn this language as I am married to a Punjabi person. I would like to learn conversationa l Punjabi so that I can converse with my wife's family. I would prefer to learn Punjabi by a teacher in person either privately or in a class room environment. I work full time and have 2 small children so I can study for a couple of hours a couple of nights a week (or weekend). I would like my teacher to be fluent in both languages (English and Punjabi) and have a lot of patience. Hopefully there is someone in the Calgary area that is teaching Punjabi that I can learn from.

i am a begginer and i only know a few common punjabi phrases. i am learning punjabi as it is my family native language i would like to do a gcse in punjabi in three years time so i will need a teacher who will be able to cover all aspects of the language . i am lookin to spend 2 to 3 hours a week with my teacher .i need someone who will be able to teach private lesson and who will be as dedicatedc as i am . no time wasters only real teachers please contact me personally if you are really a teacher.

Currently, I would be classified as a complete beginner. I have a desire to learn this language because I would like to surprise my girlfriend and her family, and be able to communicate with them in their native tongue.
