I would like to become proficient enough to carry a conversation without any difficulty. I learned the Korean alphabet two years ago and have retained some of it along with some common phrases but I am still a beginner in the language. My work schedule constantly switches hours so it is hard for me to commit to a classroom environment. Weekends are the best time for face-to-face lessons and online works for weekdays.

I want to learn the language because I love the movies and the music and I also love the respect that they give the elders. I have tried the cd's and I can pretain some of it but I learn better one on one. I really want to learn because I am praying that one day I will be able to go to Korean, China and Japan and I want to be able to commuicate with some intelligents. I love the music and I understand some of the words and they use words that we would not even think of puting in a song. I pray someone see that I am trully serious about learning this language and I hope I can afford the classes. Thank you for listening to me. I will need someone with patience and I am willing to put as much time in it that is necessary for me to reach my goal.
