I looking to become native in the Japanese Language. I lived in Japan for one year and I plan on moving back permanently and I am currently taking a japanese course at a college but i feel the pace is a little to slow for me as the class is only 1 hour a day. I am still at a begginer level and I am looking for someone who would be able to give me a quality class. I want to be able to take my japanese leve 2 test within the next 6 months. I am willing to spend as much time needed with japanese as my wife is japanese and I will be able to practice any time with her.

Hi,
I lived in Taiwan for three years and I think my level is low intermediate- intermediate. It's hard to tell! Native Mandarin speakers say my pronunciation is good but I want to concentrate on listening (conversation or tapes, radio) and speaking. I am learning Mandarin because I have a base already and I think it is a valuable skill to have. I also like it! Right now I'd like to dedicate an hour a week as I also have a language exchange once a week.
I simply want a teacher who will ONLY speak Mandarin (simple at first) and be patient :) with me, but who is laid back and fun to talk to. A Mandarin speaker from either Taiwan or Mainland China is fine. I'm also looking in the $15-20/hr range. Thank you!
