I am a beginner. I am learning Japanese because I intend to go on a pilgrimage to a small island in Japan called Shikoku. I need improvement in everything. I would like to begin now, and learn until I leave...so April, 15th 2006. I would like my instructor to know the language well and be able to not only tell me the words, but how and why they are used so I get a feel for context and grammar usage. I would like to learn Japanese because I am moving to Osaka in March and I would like to know some basics before I get there. I was there a couple of weeks ago so I do know how to say hello, goodbye etc, but I would like to learn it so I can have a conversation with someone.

I can speak a little bit Japanese. However, I am a beginner in German, never touch about any field about it. Learning foreign languages just for interests. Coz now is summer holidays, I have many free time. I have no idea for how much time I will spend on it. Depend on the tutor. No special qualities for lessons or teachers. But I cant afford too expensive lesson fees. So I wanna choose the cheap one.
