I am studying my Masters in Japanese Translation and Interpretatio n. I have already passed Level 1 of the JLPT but would like some practice at debating and discussing current social/politi cal issues with a native Japanese speaking teacher. Perhaps providing some assistance with written texts.
I would like to have an hour long private lesson about once a week. Teacher must be intelligent, highly educated with some understanding of the requirements of translation and interpretatio n of texts.
I don't mind travelling to somebody's home for lessons but would prefer north side of Brisbane or close to St. Lucia.

I will be a beginner in the languages that I have selected above. I would like to learn them now so that once I graduate from the seminary I am attending I will be fluent enough to participate on missions. I feel that I need improvement in all languages being that I have never studied them before outside of my own personal studies. I would like to dedicate two-three hours per day to learning these languages. The quality I am looking for in a teacher is passion. A passion for learning, a passion for teaching, a passion for art.

I have just return from Japan after a month's stay and wish to return to teach english. I'm at the beginner's level and need one on one tutoring. I'm hoping for an easy, patient and fun teacher. I wish to return to Japan in 2 years and hope to be able to communicate in Japanese by then. I also wish to learn to read Japanese.
