Hi, i am looking to learn spanish at an intermediate level.
I want to be able to hold a conversation and also understand exactly what is being said to me in spanish.
The reason i wish to do this is that i will be extensively travelling south america and believe that to fully absorb myself in the culture i need to be able to speak, and understand the language quite well.
i currently work in the yachting industry and believe that learning another language, in particular spanish, will be of great benefit to me.
i would like to dedicate a fair amount of time to this and was wondering if anyone can help with my query.

I am an extreme beginer. With that said I would prefer to do a one on one classes. I would like to learn spanish for two reasons: first, my fiancee is peruvian and I would better like to communicate with his family and second, for career advancement. I need help in every aspect of the language, however am willing to dedicate 4 hours a week to learning spanish. I am looking for a teacher that is patient and works at a slow pace, literally from the bottom up.

I only know a few words in Spanish and I really want to learn how to speak Spanish due to my job. Learning the language will help me be more considered for any jobs that I apply for. I want to start as an beginner and learn the grammer and be able to learn how to speak and understand conversationa l Spanish at the end. I want to dedicate as much time as I can depending on my free time and especially for the instructor's time too. The qualities I expected from an teacher is someone who will have patience and time to teach me step by step.
