I am an ESOL teacher and I would like to be able to communicate with newly arrived students and their parents. I also want to be able to communicate with my boyfriend's Spanish speaking family. I am a beginner and I can understand more than I can produce. I want to concentrate on speaking and conversation. I am serious about learning and will study and practice daily.
Qualities I look for in a lesson include introduction of new vocabulary and phrases, as well as allowance for conversationa l practice. I like for teachers to be patient, down-to-earth , and good humored.

I have studied Spanish for about a year now and consider myself to be a beginner. I am learning Spanish because I love learning and I am interested in Spain and Latin America. My reading skills far exceed my conversationa l skills. I am making steady progress with the acquisition of vocabulary and grammar, but I still have a long way to go. I study each day for about an hour and I can devote several hours a week to lessons. I prefer a teacher who is well prepared and who provides lots of structure.

Hello:
I am very eager to develop my Spanish. I am currently at an early intermediate level, and I am looking for an intensive program to help me with an oral Spanish exam I will have in 2 months.
I am looking for lots of conversation and grammar practice, and I would like to dedicate 10-15 hours a week on these lessons.
I am looking for a patient teacher that speaks with a slower speaking voice, and who can practice speaking about South/Central American politics and current events with me, as this will be the subject of my test. He/She can be funny too, of course!
