I am seeking to develop full fluency in speaking and reading Mandarin Chinese, as I anticipate career advancement for this particular skill. My proficiency level can be described as conversationa l in terms of speaking (as I speak it at home with family), and minimal in terms of reading. I would like to improve both of these to the level of high proficiency- capable of discussing complex and abstract concepts. To start, I seek to develop the ability to read newspaper articles practically effortlessly. I am willing to devote as much time as possible to learning the language effectively.

Hi,
I have recently begun tecahing English at Hubei University of Technology in Wuhan, and am looking to speand some free time each week learning Mandarin. Ideally I would have lessons on weeknights, but my timetable is flexible.
Please contact me if you can spare a few hours a week to teching me the basics of the language. I am staying in Wuhan for 1 year, so I hope to learn for a long period of time, and gain a certain amount of proficency.
