Dear Aj Worawan,
I am looking for a Thai language tutor to assist me with reading, writing, speaking, and listening to fulfill duties in my current work. I lived in Thailand and studied Thai for one year from 2003-2004. I would say that my level is conversationa l/intermediate so I am not starting from the beginning but rather need to build on my foundation. I am interested in dedicating either one hour every day, or a couple hours for 2-3 days per week, but am flexible at this point. I am looking for a teacher who is responsible, patient, who has some teaching experience, and is willing to either come to my office to meet in person or be available by SKYPE, email, chat, etc. to answer questions. I am a very fast and eager learner and think that the teacher will need to be flexible to focus on the types of materials I need to use in my every day work.

For the past year my family and I hosted a Thai foreign exchange student, and we became very close and I plan on visiting her in a few years. Learning to read and write in Thai has been a long time personal goal of mine, I can carry on a conversation in Thai, based off self taught methods (listening to Thai music, watching movies etc) but conversationa lly it is an area I would like to be more proficient in- so maybe I'm at intermediate speaking level and very beginning in reading and writing? Since I am motivated to learn, I plan on dedicating as much as 1-3 times a week to language learning, depending on how we can coordinate our schedules. I live in Seattle, WA and work a full time job, if evening or weekend classes are available, that would be preferred. I'm looking for a teacher who is patient, someone who can challenge and obviously, help me reach my goals. I will give my best shot and I can only hope that my teacher will do the same :)
