My best friend and I will be going to Taiwan for the summer and we want to learn how to speak the language. We both watch Taiwanese dramas but other than that we are beginers, we would be willing to spend two to three days put of the week learning chinese.We hope our teacher will be fluent in chinese and teach us well.

I took 2 years of Chinese in college and live in Shanghai now. I want to increase my writing and reading ability. Since I work full time, I only have 2 hours at night or half days on weekends for lessons. I am hoping to find a teacher who is very efficient with lesson plans and experienced in teaching. Also, I am looking for a Cantonese teacher as well, since I have some Cantonese blood and think the language is quite fun. Thanks!

I have been studying pu tong hua for 1 yr, my knowledge is very basic, still not good, i want to focus on conversation, i write little pin yin. I still dont want to learn han zi, only later on. I am learning pu tong hua just because i find it interesting and i like chinese people, so this will help me understand more the culture. Also i look forward in the future to make business with china (import/expor t). For now i am just looking to speak basic chinese, to deal with everyday life and fun. I speak english and spanish.
I want to go Honk Kong or Shanghai to learn pu tong hua for one week private lesson, probably only half of the day day or at least 2 or 3 hrs a day. Also i will be visiting the city during my free time. I plan on october 2009, or if not possible starting of 2010.
I have been to china before.

I am looking for a well qualified Mandarin Chinese language tutor, to teach me to both speak and write Chinese (Speaking is the most important) as quickly as possible. I already have some very basic understanding and can count numbers, Days and time with relative ease, but really want to be able to correctly understand and converse on a daily basis, both personally and proffesionall y.
