Hi!
I've studied Chinese in Shanghai for 3 months now. The thing is that in class I don't get that much oral practice and practice in grammar that i want. Therefore I am looking for a private teacher to practice mostly grammar and conversation with.
I would like to have 2-3 lessons a week, about 2 hours at a time.
I am looking for a patient teacher that can explain grammatic rules and differences between two words, that for me looks the same, in depth. I would also like the teacher to come from another region/city than Shanghai.

I am learning Mandarin Chinese because I would like to study at university in China. I have been learning for a few months and actually spent my summer of 2009 in Beijing. I am not a complete beginner, I have a full understanding of the pinyin method and recognize around 150+ basic characters. I think I must improve my grammer the most. I am willing to dedicate large amounts of time studying and improving . I am looking for a teacher who is kind and understanding , also I would like a teacher who will push me to reach my goal of becoming fluent in Mandarin Chinese :)

I would like to a new language to be able to communicate with different people. Learning a new language is a challenge I would like to encounter. I am a complete beginner. I am interested in all parts of the language. I am able to spend about three to four hours every week.
I would like a teacher who is dedicated in teaching the language she can teach and who is patient enough to teach me. The lessons have to be interesting somehow. I want my time and money spent learning a language to be worth every penny.

I wish to learn business Mandarin with the intention of speaking in a business context. I have no special desire to learn to write, and would rather spend all possible time getting to reasonably proficient conversation. I am very much a beginner in Mandarin.
I am keen to work on this on a one-on-one basis in my office building (Jln Sultan Ismail) twice or 3 times a week, say at 6pm (just after work). I would see myself as allocating perhaps 3 hours a week face-to-face to this. For reasons of my own scheduling, I would need a tutor capable of meeting this time-slot.
