I lived 4 months in Shanghai to learn Mandarin Chinese. My level is elementary. I would like to work on grammar, conversation and some reading/writi ng.
Right now I can't do more than 1 or 2 hours a week of class and I can study 1 hour a day. But I speak 3 other foreign languages so I think my brain is trained and flexible enough to learn quickly.
I am a language teacher myself so I would appreciate having a teacher who has teaching experience and skills at explaining concepts in a clear and simple way. My preference is for a native Mandarin Chinese teacher.
